Who runs the wiki
WikiPokopia is operated by Polaris Records Ltd, an independent UK company. The project is a hobby — we ship features and fixes outside of day jobs, with help from a small group of volunteer contributors on Discord. No venture capital, no holding company, no Pokémon Company licensing relationship.
Why it exists
When Pokopia launched, the first Google results were either SEO spam or half-scraped fan wikis with outdated fixtures. We started WikiPokopia to sit in that gap: every entry cross-checked against the actual game, no pop-up signups, no content farms. If you’re looking for a specific item, a habitat build list, or the unlock procedure for a legendary, the data should be correct and the page should load fast.
How entries are verified
Every data bundle (Pokémon, biomes, habitats, items, recipes, NPCs, moves) is assembled from at least two sources: primary in-game observation and a cross-check against the official Serebii and Game8 references. We publish the editorial standard in full — what we cross-check, what stays unverified, and how corrections are handled.
Update cadence
The wiki targets a 24-hour turnaround after every game patch. Small content corrections land within a day of a Discord report; larger data-bundle regenerations (a dex bump, a new habitat wave) go out on the weekend after the patch. The changelog tracks every substantive release.
How to get involved
The fastest way to contribute — correction, screenshot, habitat spawn report, anything — is to drop a message in the Discord server. Creators interested in the paid Creator Program can submit there too. For legal or takedown matters, email legal@polarisrecords.net.
