Teaches you cooking recipes using gathered ingredients. Central to raising the Mood metric in Rocky Ridges through curry-making and party preparation.
How to unlock
Free him from the kitchen inside the ruined Rocky Ridges Pokémon Center, then bring him the ingredients for his first party curry to fully recruit him.
Before you start
- Reach Rocky Ridges (unlocked after completing “Yawn Up a Storm”).
- Own a Pokémon that knows the Cut move.
- Have access to a Bread Oven so you can bake Simple Bread.
Quest walkthrough
Inside the ruined Pokémon Center at Rocky Ridges, the kitchen is blocked off by wall debris and a chain.
Bake Simple Bread at a Bread Oven and feed it to a Pokémon that knows Cut — this upgrades their Cut move so it can break the chain.
Use the upgraded Cut to clear the way. Chef Dente is behind the wall, standing still over his stove.
He won’t join yet — bring him the listed ingredients for his first party curry. Once it’s cooked, he joins the team.
The Rocky Ridges plaza itself isn’t built yet — that comes later in the “Time to Party!” questline.
